Perch is built to keep your accounts on your Mac and off our servers. This policy explains the small amount of data we do store, and the data we never touch.

What we store

When you buy Perch, we store your email address and your license key. We use these to deliver your license, verify it, and provide support, and we may email you occasional product updates and offers as an existing customer. Every such email has a one-click unsubscribe.

When you start a free trial, we store the email address you enter and add it to our product mailing list. We use it to email you about your trial and to send occasional updates and offers about Perch. Every one of these emails has a one-click unsubscribe, and you can opt out at any time — via the link in any message or by emailing [email protected]. That's the extent of the personal data we hold.

What never leaves your Mac

Your Claude, Cursor, and Codex logins, sessions, and credentials never leave your Mac and never touch our servers. Perch runs locally: each account lives in its own isolated session on your machine. We can't see your accounts, your prompts, or your work, because none of it is routed through us.

Payments

Payments are handled by Stripe. When you check out, your card details go directly to Stripe and are processed under Stripe's own privacy and security terms — we never see or store your full card number. We receive only what we need to fulfill your order, such as your email and confirmation that payment succeeded.

Sharing

We don't sell your data. We share it only with the service providers we need to run the business — Stripe for payments and Resend for sending email — and only as needed to provide Perch to you.

Your choices

You can unsubscribe from product-update and trial emails at any time using the link in any message, or by emailing [email protected]. You can also ask us to access or delete the email and license data we hold for you at any time. Note that we may need to retain some records for legitimate business or legal reasons, such as proof of purchase.
